O’Nell Starkey

she/her

My superpower is creating personalized rite of passage ceremonies for people who want to acknowledge and celebrate their soul’s growth. I love helping people feel empowered, connected and attuned to themselves and to their families.

My work is interdisciplinary, weaving together the best of my skills: empathetic listening, honest communication, orienting, holding sacred space, creativity, compassion, and nurturing caregiving. I believe my work with families fosters health and peace at large in our society.

I have worked with hundreds of magical children and babies since I was a young girl myself. After birthing my daughter in 2015 and experiencing my own physical healing process and mood changes, I was inspired to shift my postpartum doula practice to focus on caring for the parents.  I have a background in holistic Early Childhood Education and have spent 20 years studying midwifery and postpartum arts with many different wise women and healers around the world. I am a certified INNATE postpartum care provider, lactation specialist, infant massage instructor, and fertility awareness educator. I hold a current infant & adult CPR certification, am Trustline certified and COVID vaccinated.

I am especially grateful to my seven-year-old daughter for teaching me humility and giving me endless opportunities to practice loving myself and her in both subtle and profound ways. I am enlivened by laying on warm rocks by a river, snuggling with my sweetie, creating art and being in sacred circles of humans.
