My work revolves around helping people feel empowered, connected and attuned to themselves and to their families. It is an honor to nourish and tend to families during their postpartum transformation.
Since I was a young girl, I have worked with children and babies. I have a background in holistic Early Childhood Education and have spent 15 years studying midwifery and postpartum arts with many different wise women and healers around the world. I am a certified INNATE postpartum care provider, lactation specialist, infant massage instructor, and fertility awareness educator. I am infant & adult CPR certified.
I am especially grateful to my four-year-old daughter for teaching me humility and giving me endless opportunities to practice loving myself and her in both subtle and profound ways. I am enlivened by laying on warm rocks by a river, snuggling with my sweetie, creating art, and being in sacred circles of women.
I truly believe in women’s instincts and the ability of families to make healthy decisions when they are supported and feel safe. I choose to work with families in the perinatal period because it is an area where I can use the best of my skills: empathetic listening, honest communication, creativity, compassion, and nurturing caregiving. I believe my work with families fosters health and peace at large in our society.
